You can’t find the split-screen options. Oh no! You check again, and again, and again! Still, nothing. You turn to the internet for some fashionable advice, a trick, perhaps a hack to split the screen. You want to know. Does Battlefield 1 have split screen? And that’s when it hits you hard: there is no battlefield 1 split screen.
Looking for how to do splitscreen on Battlefield one becomes a futility since very few people have ever applied themselves to making such an extensive mod for a complex Triple-A game.
Why Do we Love Local Coop & Split Screen so Much?
What exactly is a split screen? Split screen is a gaming option that allows multiple players, typically 2 or 4 to play the same game on a single console. Split screen technology is not all that new. Some of Xbox 360 and PS 2/3 games such as Call of Duty have that option. However, EA hushed our buzz for multiplayer gaming with no split screen for Battlefield 1, the one true secret to spiced-up gaming. . I miss the good old days when buddies gathered in a room, killing, getting killed, but still remaining. With BF 1, you gotta do it solo bro! The closest one gets to a multiplayer experience in Battlefield 1 is the online gaming option.
The lack of Battlefield 1 split screen is a major turn down for BF 1 lovers. Battlefield 1 split screen multi-player could have posted heavy competition to Call of Duty’s split screen but apparently, EA’s focus on interactivity gaming is less than we would want it. Let’s just put it this way, playing battlefield 1 split screen would be like horse riding with friends as opposed to going alone.
The frustrating lack of local coop, local multiplayer and sweet home splitscreen campaigns will soon be a thing we have to live with. Titles like Forza: New Horizon, Overwatch and COD WW2 have expressed no desire for local multiplayer and are instead focusing on online multiplayer. It seems like we will have to turn to Nintendo games since they’re the only kid in the block who seems reluctant to kill the good old times.
